Buried in the bottom of a story on p. A6 of the NYTimes today is the report that an employee of Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg Brown & Root has been sentenced to 12 months in prison and ordered to pay $380,000 in restitution to the U.S. for accepting kickbacks for subcontracts for dining services for our troops from a Saudi subcontractor (who was also sentenced). This should be getting a lot more press.
